Designed around simplicity and versatility, the Zurich Cementless hip system includes a wide range of sizes for THR from toy to giant breed dogs, but also several unique solutions for specific patient needs, including the Dual Mobility cup for high luxation risk patients, a cupless partial hip replacement system, and revision cups for the THR systems.
The modular system combines different sizes of stems, necks, heads, and cups to address your patient anatomical needs perfectly. With immediate, cementless fixation of all componenets the locking screw technology eliminates micromotion of the femoral component. The stem is affixed to the medial cortex only, preventing the stress-shielding of the proximal femur and allowing the implant to grow with the femoral bone structure and a hydroxyapatite surface modification of the stem and cup promotes rapid bone integration.
